Artist Statement: I am inspired by the many simple, beautiful moments that can be found in our daily lives. I especially enjoy observing the play of light and color over a scene, or noting different textures, which I love to explore. I have taken many photographs which I then interpret by using various mediums to create my paintings and drawings. It is my endless curiosity for all of the different art mediums and genres that keeps me exploring new ones, most recently, dabbling in oils. Art is truly a necessity in my life.
